I think I pretty much bought most the books I was after in charity shops last month so this month my book haul is a little smaller
Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll
I bought this very beautifully illustrated book from Wordery.com (recommend!) and it's just so beautiful it must be displayed! I've not read Alice in Wonderland in many many years so I will be reading it to my daughters soon
Howls Moving Castle by Diana Wynn Jones
I got half way reading through this book two years ago and things came along and I didn't finish it. I really want to so I will reread from the beginning and finally finish it this time! It's very different to the film (which I love!)
FanGirl by Rainbow Rowell
I read this book in June and I did quite like it- I had some issues with it but I do like Rowell's writing style and her book covers are just so lovely and I had to get this book in hardback! (also from Wordery.com)
Eleanor and Park by Rainbow Rowell
Again, same reason as before- I had to get this book!
Miss peregrine series by Ransom Riggs
I bought the second and third book after reading the first book and loving it! I am currently reading the second book and thoroughly enjoying it!
To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee
and Catcher in The Rye by J.D Salinger
Two of those most infamous classic books that everyone must read. I want to try and read at least one 'classic' book that everyone must read before they die per month.
The Casebook of Victor Frankenstein by Peter Ackroyd
The main reason I bought this book is because it is set in Headington, Oxford, England which is where I grew up and where my parents live LOL
