Book Haul [June]

This month I decided that I would finally get myself a bookshelf and start book collecting and reading more. I recently moved house and got rid of a lot books (which I no longer wanted) so it was time for new ones. In June I bought 28 books all from charity shops (good will) and most of which in new or almost new conditions

As well as my nifty charity book finds, I did buy some from book shops (one of which I did find later in a charity shop and kicked myself!) These were

Everything Everthing by Nicola Yoon

And this is just all the hard copy books. This doesn't include any Kindle books I have bought- I'm purely just posting for my bookshelf collection
I feel like my book haul for next month probably won't be anywhere near this big. I keep seeing lots of books I want but I don't really fancy paying full price for them if I can avoid it so I try to wait till they're just 99p on kindle and  I can read them there and eventually get them cheap as a book, or in a sale/on an offer or if I can find them in cheap book shops or charity shops. My book shop buys total could have easily been doubled with all the books I've seen on booktube and on instagram that I really want to read and it's only my first month doing this so obviously the urge to just go out and buy every book I want is too real! However I am, apparently, a grown up and I know too well that I cannot afford to be buying all dem books at all dem expensive prices. I'm so thrilled I found TWENTY-SEVEN books in charity shops with most of the books costing £1-2 each. At an absolutely max I spent about £54 on those books (it's probably more like £40-45)`and for the 15 I bought from book shops I probably spent a lot more on those!
