TBR July

So June is now over and with 6 books read and one audio listened to under my belt here I am with my July TBR list

Now... I'm not entirely sure I'll stick to this list, but I love books and I love lists and this post includes both!

Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children. I am hearing a lot of mix reviews about this. I love weird and eerie stuff so I hope I will enjoy this book and also because it would be fun to start a new series and collect all three so fingers crossed I enjoy this book. (I'm now currently reading this)

Kindred Spirits by Rainbow Rowell
. This.. is just a little tiny short story so I'm not sure if it even counts as a book but I don't care, it's on the TBR!

Eleanor and Park by Rainbow Rowell. Continuing with my Rainbow Rowell series I really fancy reading this little gem although it is one that I need to purchase yet.

The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner by Stephanie Meyer
. This comes as a recommendation for some light and fun to read. It's like a spin off from the Twilight series I believe so I fancy giving this a go. I haven't actually read the Twilight Series but I do enjoy (most of) the films. I don't care- I'm sucker for cheese sometimes! Leave me be.

Ocean at the End of the Lane by Neil Gaiman
.  Who doesn't love this guy? I am making it my gift to myself to make sure I read all Gaiman's books.

All The Bright Places by Jennifer Niven. Well.. I actually started this book.. and got like half way through  I think.. and I'm just not sure on it. I did start listening to it on audio and tbh I'm really not a fan of the audio so maybe that is the problem so I've decided I will try rereading from where I started the audio on and seeing how I get on but this might end up as a DNF for me.

Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater. This lady is getting some hype over her Raven Cycle series which I am dying to read and I figured I'd start with some of her older stuff. Mixed reviews on this series but I thought I'd give it a go. Plus.. Wolves. What am I all about? Wolves.

And throughout this month  I will be listening to Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets on Audio (Stephen Fry.. you are my hero) (currently listening to)

As I say I may find something else that peaks my interest more but these are the books that I'm currently looking at and feel most intrigued by. I don't like to set too many books either because quite frankly if I managed 5 within a months that's amazing for me

  2. Nice diverse list, I love Neil Gaiman but I've not read that title, my girls are desperate to see the movie of Miss Peregrine, must get the book for them first! Thanks for sharing with #ReadWithme

  3. Remarkably similar reading tastes! I have the same Neil Gaiman on my TBR and I have Rainbow Rowell's 'Carry On'. I also recently read Miss Peregrine and All the Bright Places. #readwithme

    1. Ohh how did you find all the bright places? I've kind of struggled to get through it. Yes I'm going through a YA thing at the moment lol! My heads usually in thriller or suspense books or foster care stories xx
